Pokhara, 25 September | The Ministry of Home Affairs has urgently called upon the public to surrender any weapons or equipment that went missing during the Jan-Andolan movement protests. According to the ministry, these items were lost during demonstrations on Bhadra 23 and 24 of 2082 BS in various parts of the country, including Kathmandu. Individuals who have found such materials are instructed to hand them over to the nearest security agency by the end of the current month of Ashoj.

The ministry has assured that those who comply within the stipulated timeframe will be honored and treated with respect. However, a stern warning has been issued that if any weapons or equipment are discovered in someone’s possession after the deadline, strict legal action will be taken as per the law. This initiative aims to recover lost government property and maintain public order by ensuring that potentially dangerous items are not circulating illegally. The ministry emphasizes the importance of cooperation from the public to achieve this goal smoothly and without incident.
