Pokhara, 19 March| The chief of Rastriya Swatantra Party, Ravi Lamichhane, stated that no final decision has yet been made regarding the formation of the new cabinet. Speaking at the closing session of a party orientation program, Lamichhane emphasized that discussions on the upcoming cabinet are still ongoing and that the party has taken note of all its members to ensure a strong and capable government structure.

During his address, Lamichhane said, “As of the time I am speaking here, no final decision has been reached regarding the cabinet. We have recognized all of you, and we will form a strong cabinet.” His remarks indicate that deliberations over the allocation of responsibilities, ministry portfolios, and policy priorities among party members and allied leaders remain active. Political analysts suggest that this stage involves strategic coordination to ensure internal party cohesion and stability in the forthcoming government.

The statement also appears aimed at reassuring party workers and the general public about the party’s readiness to form an effective and stable government. Observers note that once the cabinet formation is formally announced, administrative clarity and political direction are expected to improve significantly. The comments highlight the Rastriya Swatantra Party’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its internal structures while preparing to assume executive responsibilities at the national level.
