Pokhara, 11 April | US President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States possesses more oil reserves than the world’s largest oil economies combined, emphasizing the country’s dominance in global energy resources. The statement was made on Saturday through his social media platform, Truth Social, where he highlighted both the quantity and quality of American oil and gas.

In his post, Trump mentioned that a significant number of empty oil tankers are currently heading toward the United States, indicating strong global demand for American energy resources. He described US oil as the “best and finest” in the world, suggesting that international buyers are increasingly looking toward the country as a reliable supplier.

Trump further asserted that even when combining the oil capacities of the world’s leading oil economies, the United States still surpasses them in total reserves. He also emphasized the superior quality of US oil, portraying it as a key competitive advantage in the global energy market.

In addition to highlighting America’s energy strength, Trump extended an invitation to global oil buyers, encouraging them to come to the United States for energy deals. His message appeared to position the US as an open and attractive hub for international energy trade.

The remarks come at a time of heightened geopolitical tension in West Asia, where disruptions in oil supply have influenced global markets. Analysts suggest that Trump’s statement may be aimed at reinforcing confidence in US energy stability during uncertain times.

Meanwhile, as Trump made these claims, a US delegation was engaged in peace talks with Iranian representatives in Islamabad, reflecting ongoing diplomatic efforts alongside energy-related messaging.
