Pokhara, 7 December| Narayan Prasad Dahal, Chairman of the National Assembly, highlighted that the country is currently facing numerous challenges and problems, urging everyone to be serious and committed to overcoming them. Speaking at an event organized in Kathmandu on Sunday to mark Parliament Service Day, he stated that the Federal Parliament, being one of the main organs of the state, cannot afford to merely observe the nation’s problems. He stressed that the Parliament has significant responsibilities in resolving these issues and must not shy away from this duty.
Chairman Dahal called for inspiration to embrace these responsibilities wholeheartedly and move forward. He also urged the Federal Parliament Secretariat employees to remain united in confronting and solving every challenge. Emphasizing the significance of accountability, Dahal remarked, “The feeling of responsibility is neither big nor small. If we fulfill whatever responsibility we have undertaken, even a normal employee becomes great. I do not believe that sitting on a big chair makes one great if the responsibilities are not fulfilled.” His statement served as an encouragement for employees at all levels to carry out their duties with dedication.
