Pokhara, 7 December| Karnali Yaks have set a target of 130 runs for Janakpur Bolts in the final league match of the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League (NPL). Playing at the TU International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur, Karnali, after losing the toss and being asked to bat first, posted a total of 129 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. Opener Imran Sheikh, playing his first match of the season for Karnali, was the top scorer, contributing 33 runs off 32 balls, which included one boundary and one six.

Other significant contributors to Karnali’s total were Gulshan Jha, who scored 19 runs off 20 balls, and Captain Sompal Kami, who made a brisk 18 runs from 10 balls, hitting one four and one six. Priyank Panchal added 16 runs, while William Bosisto and Najibullah Zadran chipped in with 15 and 13 runs, respectively. In the bowling department for Janakpur, Lalit Rajbanshi and Aditya Mahata were the most successful, taking two wickets each. Sangeeth Kure, Anil Shah, and Maaz Sadakat secured one wicket apiece.
